Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce Position on Economic Sustainability and Green Business Practices

Through collaboration, partnerships and leadership with local business and the wider community, the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce is committed to assisting businesses in the integration of sustainability principles, policies and practices into their everyday operations, while being mindful of the need to be economically viable.

Economic Sustainability Position Paper

Working in collaboration with Sustainable Halton Hills and the Town of Halton Hills, as well as other Chamber members, the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce has developed a comprehensive policy around economic sustainability. This policy looks at sustainability through 4 separate lens’: Economic, Cultural, Environmental and Social.

An important element of economic sustainability is the importance of Green Business Practices and the value that these practices can create for your business.
