Most Canadians are aware of the tax advantages of an RRSP, but few are familiar with those of a Health Spending Account (HSA).  An HSA works like a bank account that’s established exclusively for the purposes of health-care spending.  An HSA is administered in compliance with Canada Revenue Agency.  All contributions are recognized as a 100% business deduction in the year in which they were contributed.  This can provide a savings of up to 35% when compared to the Medical Tax Credit.
