The New Year is the traditional time to set resolutions. It’s not essential to wait until January, but it’s a good trigger, rather like the time changes in spring and fall trigger us to change the batteries in our smoke alarms. Along with personal resolutions—lose weight, get organized, spend less money—those of us running businesses can use the New Year as a trigger to analyze, set, or refine our annual business goals.
